Manchester Irish Festival Parade

Irish World Heritage Centre

Starts at 12:00 pm

Sunday 15th March
The Parade will set off at 12 noon sharp
from Irish World Heritage Centre, Queens Rd (A6010)
the then turn left onto Cheetham Hill Rd (A665)
and proceed towards Manchester;
passing the Fort Shopping Centre; passing
St Chads Church (oldest Catholic Church in Manchester)
and the Manchester Evening News Arena, towards the
CIS buildings (approx. 12.30pm). It will turn right
into Corporation St (A6042)
passing Waxy O’Connors, the Printworks and
M&S into Cross St (A6042)
to Albert Square (approx. time 12.45pm)
Turn left onto Princess St (A34),100m turn right around the
back of the Town Hall into Lloyd St.
The parade will marshall up at the entrance to Albert Square
and each group will parade/march past the Lord Mayor and VIPs
on the podium opposite the Town Hall on Albert Square (approx. 1pm)
compare Michael Kearns will announce each group.
Reverse route back to Irish World Heritage Centre.
